Health Minister praises MP for effectively controlling corona
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harshvardhan held virtual discussion with collectors of all districts of Madhya Pradesh in the presence of senior officials of health ministries. Comparing the situation of COVID-19 in Madhya Pradesh with that of the country, Dr Harshvardhan said that India’s recovery rate is 89 per cent at present, while the rate of recovery in Madhya Pradesh is 90.55 per cent.
This is the result of the best efforts made by the State for controlling the pandemic. Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan stated the need to make the citizens more aware towards the spread of COVID and ensure adherence to preventive measures against the virus.
Dr Harshvardhan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching the public movement to generate awareness among the citizens. Public movement includes wearing masks in the right way, keeping two yards distance from each other and washing hands frequently. Dr Harshvardhan told the State officials to be vigilant during the coming winter season and festive months.
He congratulated State for having only 2 per cent active cases in the State in place of 10 per cent active cases earlier out of the total active cases in India. He directed to ensure more work in Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar, Khargone and Ujjain for further improvement in the situation.
