Javadekar criticizes Opposition MPs for boycotting Monsoon Session
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has criticized the Opposition MPs for boycotting the Monsoon Session after the protest made by them during the passage of two farm bills.
He said, the politics of the Opposition parties has turned directionless and the way the Opposition appeared in the Rajya Sabha embarrassed the house.
Mr Javadekar said, members of the Opposition parties have the right to sit, speak and give their opinion but they walked out. He said they went out of the house, held demonstrations and went to meet the President.
On the farms bills, he clarified that the Minimum Support Price of the food grains is not going to end and the Agricultural Produce Market Committees will function. The Minister also criticized the Opposition for not attending the house during the discussions on the labour codes bills passed yesterday
