14,000 students to appear in MPBSE special exam today
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Special offline exam being conducted by MP Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) for class X and XII is scheduled to be held today. There are 14,000 students registered for this exam. According to information shared by MPBSE, there are 9,000 students from district Morena, Bhind, Satna and 4,000 students are from Gwalior for writing class X exams. Besides, 700 students from Bhopal and Indore are registered to appear the special exam.
The Board said there were more than 10 lakh students in class X and 7 lakh students in class XII. For class 12 special exam highest applications has been received from Bhind and Indore as 600 and remaining 5,000 applicants are from across State.
Class X exam will be concluded on September 15 and class XII exam will be concluded on September 21. Both exams are being conducted in single shift 9 am to 12 noon. Admit cards were uploaded on portal on September 1.
After releasing result for both high school and higher secondary classes MPBSE said to conduct special offline exam for students who are not satisfied with the evaluation. Previous result of all these registered candidates is cancelled as they will be receiving new mark sheet based on the marks scored in special exam. Board said, if any student fails in the special offline exam, he will be eligible for supplementary exam as per rules. There were 10 lakh students appeared for class X exam out of which 3.56 lakh students were passed in first division, 3.97 lakh were passed in second division and around 15,000 students were passed in third division. Result of class XII remained 100 per cent but 52 per cent students were passed in first division and 40 percent passed in second division.
