Bhoj University’s final nod to set up 134 study centres
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University is all set to expand its reach to the students especially in remote areas. The university will set up 134 new study centres in Government colleges of State.
Final approval from Department of Higher Education (DHE) has been sent to the University for processing the study centres. Bhoj University has also signed an understanding for study centres with the college principals.
A programme for the same was conducted at Minto Hall in which university registrars and college principals were present.
The programme was held in presence of State Higher Education Minister. Principal Secretary DHE, Commissioner DHE, additional directors, universities vice chancellors and other officials of higher education. Bhoj University Vice Chancellor Dr Jayant Sonwalkar conducted a meeting to form committees for further responsibility of the programme.
The university has already set up its study centres in 277 Government colleges in two different phases throughout State.
