CBSE begins re-structuring of affiliation system
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going for restructuring of it’s affiliation systems and process as per the various recommendations for systemic reforms laid down in the National Education Policy 2020.
Although the CBSE affiliation system is completely online since 2006, the re-structured system will be completely digital and based on data-analytics with least human intervention to achieve various objectives including establishing ease of doing business in CBSE affiliation system, attaining the goal of minimum government maximum governance, automated and data-driven decisions, achieve transparency, bring more accountability in the entire systemic processes and to achieve quick and time-bound disposal of all applications.
For streamlining the entire affiliation process and also for the convenience of schools preparing to apply under various categories of affiliation, the timelines have been revised and from 2021 onwards the applications will be received from March 1, onwards.
The schools need to ensure that they meet all mandatory requirements as per the Affiliation Byelaws before applying for affiliation. They must procure digital signatures of the school from authorised service provider or AADHAR based signature. They must register on the CBSE website i.e. www.cbseaff.nic.in and upload all mandatory documents i.e. NOC, recognition certificate, society/trust/company registration, land certificate and safety certificate.
