CBSE likely to release class X result on July 15
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely be releasing result for class X students between July 15 and 17.
Sources said that board has made preparation for result and it is proposed to release the marksheet on any day from July 15 and 17. Due to the pandemic, this year board exam was cancelled in first week of April. After this, board result the valuation process of students. According to evaluation criteria, class X students will be evaluated based on 100 marks.
20 marks will be given for internal assessment. Remaining 80 marks will be judged based on internal test and exams held on school level. CBSE schools were asked to submit the marking to students by June 30. Earlier, schools were asked to upload the marks by June 11 but later date was extended.
On June 1, centre declared to keep class XII examination of CBSE board cancelled. Government said that it cannot put student’s life on stake as pandemic is still continuing. Experts have also raised alarm in country for the third wave of COVID-19 pandemic which forced officials to take such decision of cancelling exams.
For the third wave of pandemic experts have suggested to pay extra attention to children as they would be victim in large. Concerned over the situation of pandemic, both State as well as Centre cancelled high school and higher secondary examinations.
