CBSE’s new Exam Centre Locator App to help examinees

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: THE Board examinees will now be able to locate their examination centres from home easily. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has facilitated examinees by introducing an app through which help the examinees locate their examination centre and see the distance between current location and examination centre.

The Board has introduced Exam Centre Locator AppCBSE ECL APP for ease of students. The high school and higher secondary board examinations will begin from February 15. Thus, the Board has asked its affiliated schools to inform students about the Exam Centre Locator (CBSE ECL) App.

The Exam Centre Locator AppCBSE ECL APP-is an android based mobile app which can be used by students to locate their examination centre and see the distance between current location and Examination Centre.

The App is available on Google Playstore. The Board states in its released circular that further, several of colleague principals will perform duties of a Centre Superintendent. 

One of the important duties of a Centre Superintendent is proper utilisation of Online Exam Centre Management System-OECMS. 

OECMS system will be implemented from  February to April with a view to get real time information such as invigilators available, absentee students, PwD, scribe, unfair means, sugar patients, feedback about the question paper(s) and various other details. 

The board expects that utmost care should be observed while performing these extremely vital activities.
