Change syllabus as per guidelines of NEP: Yadav
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Higher Education Minister Dr Mohan Yadav told that as per the guidelines of National Education Policy, changes should be made in academic structure and syllabus. “We should implement National Education Policy by pondering over our resources.
On need, help will be also taken from Union Government,” he told. He was chairing the online meeting of Task Force Committee constituted to provide guidance on National Education Policy (NEP) on Tuesday. He said that many states are still waiting to implement National Education Policy.
However, Madhya Pradesh is in pioneering role. He said that from next academic year, policy will be implemented at graduation level in Madhya Pradesh. He said that Central Government has taken a positive step through the medium of National Education Policy. The problems coming in its implementation will be removed by doing discussion with educationists.
He said that with limited resources, National Education Policy is being implemented in State. The members of Task Force put forward their suggestions during the meeting. It was informed during presentation that under National Education Policy, graduate course will be multi-subject. Grading system will be adopted and syllabus will be based on choice based credit system. Students will have freedom to choose subjects.
