Class VIII pre-board exams to conclude on February 10

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: IT IS high time for the board examinees as the examinations are near. This year it will be board examination for class VIII as well so the schools are preparing the students for it.

At present, the schools are conducting pre-board examinations for class V and VIII at various Government schools. Other classes are also having their pre-board examinations in the schools. 

The examinations are being held for the main examinations in the morning shifts. Pre-board examinations will be concluded on February 10, Monday.

This year, the class V and class VIII examinations will be held on the board examination pattern. The question paper of the examination will be designed at the State-level and will be forwarded to the districts.

Examination centres will be determined and examination controller (except the school principal) will also be appointed. For the evaluation of the answer sheets of the examination, evaluation centres and evaluation centre in-charge will be also be appointed by the senior authorities.

Rajya Shiksha Kendra has released the time table of the examinations which will begin from March 4.

Various instructions have been given by the Kendra in this regard. Class fifth examinations will be held from 1:30 pm to 4 pm while class eighth examinations will be held from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

As per the released time table, classes fifth and eighth examinations will start with first language subject English/Hindi/Urdu/Marathi on March 4.

The examinations will be concluded on March 27 with oral General Language Hindi Second and Third Language for class eighth while there will be no exam for class fifth.

Class V and Class VIII students who would secure 33 per cent and less will be given special classes to reappear for the examinations. 

Thereafter, they will appear for the examination again after two months. The students who would fail again in this examination will have to repeat the same class again.
