Classes for IX to XII students likely to start this week

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The School Education Department is likely to start the classes for the students of IX to XII in the schools adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) from this week.

Viewing the board examinations next to door amid COVID-19, it is now high time for the students of higher classes, thus now the students of Classes IX to XII will have to attend schools adhering to the COVID-19 precautionary measures.

The State Government recently ordered for that the schools will remain shut for classes I to VIII till March 31, 2021. 

These classes’ students will be evaluated on the basis of their internal project works. Besides, the board examinations of class X and XII will be conducted and their classes would also be resumed soon.

District Education Officer Nitin Saxena told news agency that the classes will be held for the higher classes’ students in schools after the order of the school education department. 

The classes will be held as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). As per the orders, it has been instructed that the social distancing norms while taking classes for the higher class students must be followed by the school managements. The students of classes IX and XI will also be called to the schools for once or twice a week.
