DHE releases new admission schedule
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Department of Higher Education (DHE) has released a new schedule for last round of admission in undergraduate and postgraduate programme of colleges. This would be fifth round of college level counselling to be continued by January 2.
Candidates are allowed to do their form rectification, verification by December 30. Last date of admission has been decided as January 2. Admission has been reopened for four days. Till now, DHE has admitted over five lakh students. Colleges have admitted around one lakh seats after facing shortage of students. Besides, DHE has also started counseling for B.Ed courses too.
In fifth round of CLC, students are asked to contact the concern college from 10:30 to 1:30 pm. After this college will be releasing seat wise merit list on notice board at 3 pm.
Students will be asked to initiate link for online fee submission. After releasing the merit list, candidates require to submit their fee for admission confirmation by December 5.
Last week too, DHE notified admission in UG and PG courses. Students are allowed to do their registration by midnight of December 31.
Fee submission will be allowed by January 5 to confirm their admission on given seats. Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Dr Dhirendra Shukla said that there are many students failed to get admission in colleges due to the scare of COVID-19 pandemic.
The department has allowed last and special counseling round for such students. In this round students will be allowed to make new registration and candidates who are already registered but did not get seat allotment in previous counseling rounds will also be allowed to participate.
Seats will be allotted to the students on vacant seats of concern college. This year colleges have admitted over 5.5 lakh students in UG and PG courses which are higher than the previous year record.
