FDP training for over 220 professors for UG courses' online content

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Over 220 professors and assistant professors will receive training at the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) to create online content for under-graduate (U-G) courses from July 12. The training will, finally, lead to the higher education departmentís ambitious scheme of creating e-content for its students. The scheme was made keeping the Covid pandemic in view but it has its relevance even in the long run.

The first phase of training for these members of faculty will be held online from July 12-17. The six-day training programme consists of six hours of online training sessions every day.

The participants will also get assignments each day after the sessions that will be evaluated the next day. They will have to prepare a video lecture every day as part of the training.

All these members of faculty have offered voluntary services to develop e-content for the U-G courses. The members of faculty include regular teaching staff from government and private colleges, besides guest scholars.

The video lectures and contents created by the members of faculty will become the property of the higher education department. The content creators will be given certificates of appreciation by the department of higher education.
