Four fake examinees caught in MPBSE exam
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is conducting offline exam for high school and higher secondary students who were dissatisfied with their results. On Wednesday, four fake candidates were found writing paper in the exam hall in Bhind district. Officials said students are trying to use unfair means in this exam as well.
Four fake candidates were caught in the examination hall at Swami Vivekananda School in Surpura village of Bhind district. After investigating the issue it was found that three candidates were writing the exam in place of original examinees while one candidate sat in the exam after morphing the papers.
A FIR has been filed against the four accused. Result of class X and XII students were prepared based on internal evaluation and previous year’s performance of students.
However, there were many students who were not satisfied with the marking and demanded to appear in the exam. The Board is conducting special exam for all these candidates. There are 14000 students across state registered for this exam. According to information shared by MPBSE, there 9 thousand students from district Morena, Bhind, Satna and 4 thousand students are from Gwalior for writing class X exams. District Education Officer (DEO) Nitin Saxena informed that there are two centers in Bhopal including TT Nagar Kamla Nehru School and Berasiya School. This special exam will be concluding on September 15 and 21 respectively for high school and higher secondary. Previous result of all these registered candidates is cancelled as they will be receiving new mark sheet based on the marks scored in special exam.
Board said, if any student fails in the special offline exam, he will be eligible for supplementary exam as per rules.
