HC permits physical classes in private schools in Telangana
HYDERABAD [Maha Media]: Telangana High Court on Tuesday permitted physical classes in private schools and other educational institutions in the state but with a rider that the government should make it voluntary to the students in view of COVID-19. Passing an interim injection on a PIL against the reopening of educational institutions from September one, the Court said that the government should not put pressure on the parents to send their children to schools and colleges.
The Court said that the government should not take action against the students who do not attend schools or colleges or the managements of the educational institutions. However, the HC granted stay on the government G.O on conducting physical classes in Gurukul schools and reopening hostels and issued an Order to this effect.
