Hindi fest by Rajbhasha Samiti begins at MANIT
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: A guest lecture was organised by the Rajbhasha Samiti of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, on the special programme of Hindi Week through online medium.
Under this programme, known as ‘Solar Man of India’ and ‘Solar Gandhi’ and Professor of IIT Bombay, Professor Chetan Singh Solanki was present as main guest for the guidance of the students. The programme began with the melody of Saraswati Vandana, started with some glimpses of Tooryanaad, after which he was introduced to all the audience. He expressed happiness on joining the Rajbhasha Samiti’s Hindi Week celebration and said that today we can find a solution to the problem of climate change persisting in the world from our ancient culture.
Emphasising on the problems of today’s modern era, he said “GDP of our country has been increasing for the last 15-20 years, but what about happiness, is it also increasing at the same pace? No, but on the contrary, depression and other diseases are increasing in the country at fast pace.
Most important thing in our life is to breach, but we never care about the environment, people never consider the natural elements important in life. We have forgotten that without nature our life does not exist, the way we have been destroying, we have to bear the consequences. One of the competitions going on at the All India-level under Hindi Week, the final phase of the competition named ‘Abhivyakti’ will be held on September 18.
Popular actress Himani Shivpuri will be present on the stage of Rajbhasha Samiti as a judge in this competition. Participants will get to learn from her many years of experience in Hindi cinema and will provide a new direction to young artists.
