Madhya Pradesh: Class 12th Board Exams begin
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: In Madhya Pradesh, Board examinations of State Board of Secondary Education will begin today. More than 19 lakh students are appearing in these examinations. The examination of class 12th will start from today, while the 10th board examination will start tomorrow.
According to reports that to prevent cheating in the examination and to increase morality in the students, a Honesty Box is being kept in all the examination centers.The officials of MP Board says that through this box, the students will be motivated to honestly put their cheating material in the box. More than seventy five hundred examination centers have been set up for these exams. Around 8 lakh students are appearing in the 12th examination while 11 lakh students are participating in the 10th examination. Extensive arrangements have been made to prevent cheating. The security around schools has also been tightened.
Total 19,38,308 examinees will appear in the examination. Out of these, around 8,02,110 will appear in higher secondary examination, whereas 6,882 in vocational course examination, thus total 8,09,882 examinees will appear in the examination.
While high school certificate examination will start from March 3. The examination timing of high school and higher secondary will be from 9 am to 12 noon, while for visually impaired and Divyang candidates the timings will be in the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm.
