MP: BU releases admit cards for offline exam
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Barkatullah University (BU) is all set to start offline examination for several departments from January 3. The university has already released notification to conduct offline exam for first and third semester from January 3.
Exams will be continued by January 10. Admit card of all students has been released on Thursday. First semester students will be writing their exam from January 15 to 21 in offline mode. Timing for both exams has been decided as 12 noon to 3 pm. Examination center will be University Teaching Department (UTD). Department of Higher Education (DHE) has also notified to conduct only offline exam for UG and PG students.
After this order students are in dilemma and several demonstrations have been carried out by NSUI and students. Many students have raised their voice against the decision and said to arrange online exam for them. In its notification, DHE has said that college exams will be held in offline mode with social distancing. For past two years universities were conducting online and open book exam due to the pandemic.
Now Government has withdrawn all COVID related restrictions. Officials have said that exams will be held in offline mode and students have to visit the exam center for writing exams. DHE has said in its order to conduct offline examination of PG first and third semester and ATKT from December 30.
Barkatullah University is submitting examination form of students. In the meantime COVID19 cases have once again rising due to which demand for online exam is being made students. After Government said to conduct online exam for students of RGPV, it raised hope among college students for the online exam.
