MP: BU to conclude all exams by Jan 31
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: As offline examination of UG and PG students of Barkatullah University (BU) is almost to be completed, the university has started preparation to release the result. The university started its examination from beginning of January to meet the schedule of academic calendar. Officials said that all efforts are being made to release the result of all exams by end of February.
Copies are immediately being sent for further evaluation after conducting the exam. Since beginning of offline exam, student s’organisations staged various demonstrations to demand online exam but BU has completed its many exams in offline mode at centers. The university has already started B.Ed and M.Ed examination of first to fourth semester which is to be ended in next two days. The university has assigned more than 18 centers for both exams. Besides PG first semester examination has also began last week and it is scheduled to be concluding by January 31. There are 120 centers in seven districts.
At many centers, students were seen making groups and gathering outside of exam hall. Students are neither following social distancing guidelines not wearing mask properly. Many students are being detected COVIDpositive at exam centers and after this, students are opposing the decision of university management to conduct offline exam. Hindi University has also set to start its offline examinations.
However students have been provided opportunity to appear for exam after ten days of schedule if they are infected with Covid-19.
However, in such case, they have to submit an application along with medical certificate.
