MP: Online registration for college admission ends

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Department of Higher Education (DHE) is conducting additional college level counselling to fill up 6.16 lakh vacant seats of UG and PG programme. 

There are around two thousand admissions in UG programme and 1200 registrations, 800 admissions held in PG programme. Sunday was the last date of online registration. However admissions will be held by November 16. Aspiring candidates will be allowed to contact concern college from 10 am to 12 noon for admission on vacant seats till November 16.

Registration for this round was started on November 9. DHE has provided another chance of admission to the college aspirants, number of applications is below average. There are higher numbers of seats in colleges but students are not reaching with their application.

The additional CLC will be held in colleges till November 16. Candidates who are already registered and verified can submit their application for admission in 3rd CLC. These students do not require submitting any document while then can get admission on vacant seat by being physically present in concern college from 10 am to 12 noon. Colleges are asked to display the merit list of applicants on notice board everyday at 1 pm and initiate link for online fee payment.

Students will be allowed to confirm admission by submitting their fee in online mode from 1 pm to next day 11 am. Admission process will be continued even on Sunday and Government holiday (November 14 and 15). DHE has conducted two main and two college level counseling rounds in which 648500 students have confirmed their admissions in both UG and PG programme.

In comparison to session 2020- 21, DHE has witnessed 85500 more admissions in colleges for session 2021-22. After several efforts of DHE, 616412 seats of 1301 colleges remained vacant for the entire session.
