MP: Pre-board exams to begin today

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: School Education Department (SED) is set to begin the preboard examination of high school and higher secondary classes from Thursday. All these exams will be held in take-home mode. Students will get the question paper and answer sheet to be taken at home. After writing exam at home, they will be asked to submit the copy in school in a fixed time. Besides, Class IX and XI students will be writing answers of question bank in their home work copy and this would be assume as pre-exam. According to guidelines released by SED, two to three question paper will be distribute to the students so that they do not require visiting school frequently. When student will visit school to collect question paper for next exam, they will answersheet at the same time. Class X students will be submitting their copies by January 28 while class XII students will be submitting copies by February 1. Teachers will be evaluating the copies and let students know their mistake by  February 5. 

Students will be visiting school to collect question paper and copies in different slots to maintain the social distancing. Parents are also allowed to collect or submit the copies of their ward. Hostel dwellers will be entitled to collect the paper and copies from nearby school. Government has already closed all schools till January 31. All teaching and non teaching staff has been asked to present in schools for conducting exam properly. Though MPBSE has released exam schedule for offline paper but expectation is being that exam would be cancelled amid the pandemic. SED is also silent on issue and watching the status of pandemic.
