MP: Registration for engineering begins
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has started online registration for admission in BE, B.Tech programme of engineering colleges for session 2021- 22 across the State. There are 140 colleges participating in the online admission process of DTE with 50,500 seats.
Out of 48 branches, applicants will be allowed to get admission in any one branch of engineering. On first day, around two thousand students confirmed their registration for admission BE programme.
In first round general and TFW seats will be allotted to the candidates based on JKEE mains2021. Last date of registration is September 27 and merit list will be released on September 29. Seats will be allotted as per the merit list on October 3.
Candidates having seat allotment will be asked to confirm admission with fee submission by October 10.
In second round of counselling students will get admission based on qualifying merit list by October 19. In both rounds, students will get option of branch up-gradation. After the two round of counselling, college level counselling will be conducted from October 21 to 25.
Online registration for Non Resident Indian (NRI) is being held from September 23 to 25. Document verification, seat allotment and admissions of these applicants will be held on September 27 from 11 am onwards. The directorate has said that applicants have to present physically at office to confirm their admission.
DTE officials said that concerned over the COVID-19 pandemic, admission is being held via online mode. They said documents are also being verified via online mode only NRI candidates have been asked to present. The directorate is making effort for providing all kind of assistance to the students and solves their queries related to engineering admission. This is admission process for engineering programme has been delayed due to the JEE-Mains result.
