MP: RTE admission process continues
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The process of free admission for the session 2020-21 at nongrant recognised schools providing elementary education in the district under RTE has begun through the online portal as per the guidelines and time-table issued by the Director State Education Centre, Bhopal. The above information was given by the District Project Coordinator of District Education Center to all such applicants of deprived communities and weaker sections.
He said that the age of applicants for admission will be calculated as on June 16, 2020. The age of the applicant should be between 3 to 5 years for Nursery, KG 1 and KG 2 as on June 16, 2020 and for class 1 between 5 to 7 years. Before applying online, the applicant should be well aware of the fact that the class of online admission will be notional i.e. in the current session 2021-22, the fee reimbursement of the same class in which the student is studying will be taken into consideration by the government.
Applicants who have got free admission under RTE in the session 2021-22 through online lottery will not be able to participate in this process.
Online lottery for session 2020-21 will be held in 01 phase only. Necessary documents regarding eligibility for application, procedure and instructions regarding verification of records at the verification center will remain the same as before.
District Project Co-ordinator said that from September 6 to 16, there will be a time limit for filing online application on the portal and option for error correction. From September 7 to 17, he deadline for verification of records at the nearest verification center is fixed along with the original records by downloading the acknowledgment of the online application from the portal. On September 23, applicants will be informed about the allotted school through online lottery by SMS on their mobile number and from September 24 to 30 reporting of admission will be done by non-government schools through mobile app.
