MPBSE continues special exam for students of class X, XII

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is conducting a special offline exam for high school and higher secondary students who are dissatisfied with the result of class X and XII. 

Result of class X and XII students were prepared based on internal evaluation and previous year’s performance of students. However there were many students who were not satisfied with the marking and demanded to write the exam. The Board is conducting special exam for all these candidates. Offline exam started on September 6. There are 14,000 students across the State who registered for the exam. According to information shared by MPBSE, there are 9,000 students from district Morena, Bhind, Satna and 4,000 students are from Gwalior for class X exams. 

The Board said there were more than 10 lakh students in class X and 7 lakh students in class XII. For class 12 special exam highest applications has been received from Bhind and Indore as 600 and remaining 5,000 applicants are from across the State. District Education Officer (DEO) Nitin Saxena informed that there are two centres in Bhopal, including TT Nagar Kamla Nehru School and Berasiya School. 

This special exam will be concluding on September 15 and 21 respectively for high school and higher secondary. Previous result of all these registered candidates is cancelled as they will be receiving new marksheet based on marks scored in the special exam. 

Board said, if any student fails in special offline exam, he will be eligible for supplementary exam as per rules.
