MPBSE likely to conduct X, XII exams in April
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The Madhya Pradesh Board Examinations-2021 (MPBSE) for classes X and XII would most likely to begin from end of April and go on till May. This year, due to the pandemic, the State Government is also considering doing away with ‘Supplementary’ examinations and instead conduct Board examinations in two sessions.
The Board also considers suggestions to conduct the exams online. It may be mentioned that recently the MPBSE conducted a meeting to discuss the various possibilities. Among the many suggestions, it was decided to delay the Class X and XII Board examinations by two months to a date in April.
Apart from these, the Board is also considering conducting the examinations twice this year. The second Board examination would be conducted after a gap of three months and students who fail in the first session can appear for the examination in the second session.
Much like a supplementary examination, the difference is that the second session would be considered as the main examination. Also, with the pandemic situation, the board is considering conducting the examinations online. To begin with, MPBSE would conduct the MP Class 10, 12 pre board examinations online.
Based on the result and success of the online examination, the board would then decide on conducting the examination online this year. Also, this year, about 30 per cent of the question paper would be objective.
Also, MPBSE would not be asking long answer questions in the three hour paper this year. Date sheet for Class Xth and XIIth Board Examinations 2021 would be shared soon on the official website i.e. www.mpbse.nic.in.
