MPBSE to re-draft blue print, question papers of X, XII
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is making new blue print for final examination of high school and higher secondary. The board will be making blue print based on the old pattern.
Earlier, MPBSE was introducing new pattern of exam and blue print for the same was ready. The board had worked for six months for new pattern of exam. After School Education Department cancelled the new pattern of exam saying that amid COVID19 pandemic, students could not attend classes and this would not be good to introduce new pattern.
MPBSE has recently conducted meeting with question paper setting committee and directed for the old blue print. The department has withdrawn the orders of MPBSE for new pattern of exam that was released during January.
SED said that exams for both class X and XII will be held as per old pattern. The board has also changed the blue print, evaluation method and printing of question paper. The new pattern would be affecting more than 18 lakh students.
As ministers and officials were not agreed with the changes made by MPBSE, SED withdrawn all orders by using special rights of ‘Madhya Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal Adhiniyan Section 9’.
In it’s order Government said that academic session has been affected badly due to the lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic. This year classroom study was not conducted and students did not visit the schools. SED said, amid such situation changes in exam paper pattern would not be suitable to the students.
There were many examinees of class X and XII examinees worried for the changes in exam pattern specially the use of OMR sheet. Many students were demanding to provide them session or special mock test to make practice of answering on OMR sheet.
The exam is scheduled to begin from April 30.
