National Invention Week to conclude today
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: THE National Invention Week that commenced on October 15 marking the birth anniversary of former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam will conclude on Wednesday via online mode.
The schools observed the National Invention Week by conducting various activities on different themes via online mode for the students.
Several activities were conducted on the theme of water accounting and calculation of carbon footprint” to make children responsible citizens by learning the accounts of water.
Students from classes 6 to 12 from all schools participated in the activities held online.
Students were divided into three groups, in which theme of the first group of classes 6 to 8 was Water accounts for household purposes, water accounts for gardening.
For the second group from class 9 to 10, theme was water accounting for agricultural crops and the third group of students of classes 11 to 12 had theme Calculation of carbon footprint.
Data collection is being done via online mode by the teachers. For this, Google Sheets were made available by NCERT.
Also questions were provided by the NCERT. Now, around five schools would be selected from each development block with best performance in the activities on the concluding day of the National Invention Week.
