Online classes in Government schools begin through radio

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Online studies for classes one to eight in Government schools have begun on Monday through radio medium. For the first day, students seem to be curious towards the classes on radio. 

School teachers informed that there were a few students who do not have radio at home. These students borrowed radio from friends or neighbours. There were also a few students who connected their radio channel on mobile phone to continue their studies. Rajya Shiksha Kendra is telecasting radio programme ‘Hamara Ghar, Hamara Vidyalaya’ from July 19 to August 14, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am every day. 

Through the radio channel, children were explained Hindi stories and moral values. They were also distributed questions from story to write its answer. Students from class II to XIII were given Math question through What’s App group.For class IX to XII, classes are being conducted through Doordarshan channel. 

According to schedule, programme for class XII students was telecasted from 8 am to 9 am, class IX from 9:30 to 10:30, class X from 11:30 to 12:30 and class IX programme was telecasted from 12:30 to 1:30. Though School Education Department started new academic session from June 15 but online classes through Doordarshan and radio channels began from Monday.
