Pre-board exam begins in CBSE schools
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: After a gap of almost ten months, students of CBSE schools reached their campus for writing pre-board exams. While some students were dropped in school campus by parents, many students drove self. Students were happy to visit school after gap. Schools were also well prepared for arrival of students and thermal screening was mandatory at main gate of all schools. After declaring the schedule of board exams, authorities cleared that pre-board will be held via offline.
Even parents agreed to send their ward in school and most of school witnessed 100 per cent attendance of students in school. Safety protocols have been made mandatory in school.
Students were asked to maintain social distancing in exam hall and circulating areas. CBSE has already released data sheet for class X and XII final examination. Both exams will begin from May 4 in two different shifts 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
School will be allowed to conduct practical, project, internal assessment of class XII from March 1 to the last date of conduct if theory examination of the same class. Similarly, schools will be allowed to conduct the practical, project, internal assessment of class X from March to the last date of conduct of theory examinations of the same class. CBSE will also inform all the stakeholders about information related to examinations from time to time.
Information will be made available on CBSE website. Information available on any other platform including social media should not be treated as correct, if not available on board’s website. Class X exams will be concluding on June 7 while XII exams will be concluding on June 11.
CBSE said that duration of time for each paper has been indicated in the datesheet. However, duration of time for each subject/paper as given on the question paper be followed meticulously.
