RTE free online admission process starts in pvt schools for year 20-21

BHOPAL [Maha Media]: UNDERRight to Education (RTE) Act, Rajya Shiksha Kendra has started the online free admissions for the underprivileged children in the non-aided accredited private schools in the academic session 2020-21. 

The online lottery process for the selection of private schools has been started at block level from March 6 to 11 while the school name, ward, neighbour mapping will be done till March 13, private schools will be doing entry for free admissions and registration of reserved seats at respective private schools via login in between of March 6 and 20. 

Thereafter, BRCC will verify the reserved seats by private schools and will forward it to district project co-ordinator after locking the seat. 

After locking the  seat by the schools, verification process will be started. 

The process has been made online in order to maintain the transparency in the admissions. 

It has been instructed that the schools which are selected for must be registered on the portal along with the required details.

This has to be completed by March 23. Then district project co-ordinator will lock the seats after various checking by March 24.

After the seats will be locked following a determined process, it will be displayed on the education portal on March 27.

The block level co-ordinator and district project co-ordinator will solve the claim, objection and redressal in between of March 27 to April 2. 

Private schools will inform about the fees by March 20. 

School Education Department released the determined schedule of the free admissions of underprivileged children on 25 per cent seats in private schools. 

The whole process is being done via online mode. 

Under RTE Act, there is provision of free admissions for 25 per cent reserved seats in private schools. 

The Kendra has asked to ensure completion of the process according to the provisions under RTE Act, 2009 within the scheduled date and time by the private schools and educational officials concerned.
