Schools to reopen for class X, XII students in MP
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: After a long gap due to covid19 pandemic, schools will be reopened in regular mode from Friday for students of class X and XII with strict covid-19 norms, as per directives of the State Government.
Earlier, the Department of School Education had issued guidelines for reopening of schools in the State. Classes will be resumed regularly as per schedule. Students of class X and XII will be attending school only after consent of their parents. Permission once granted by parents for their children ttending school amid pandemic will be considered for the entire session.
The department has cleared that attendance must not be enforced and must depend entirely on parental consent. Besides regular classes in schools, online classes which were being held so far in the pandemic will also be continued further. Students who would not be attending schools can continue their studies through online classes from home.
As per directives issued by the Education Department, where schools are conducting online classes and some students prefer to attend online classes rather than physically attending school, they may be permitted to do so.
Teachers will have to manage timing of both offline and online schooling according to their respective school timing. While schools had already reopened partially for students of classes IX to XII on voluntary basis.
