Six new universities to be set up in MP
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Around six new universities are likely to set up in different parts of state. Decision was taken by officials in 166th meeting of MP Private University Regulatory Commission (MPPURC).
After this meeting proposal has been sent to the Department of Higher Education (DHE) for approval of new universities and their fee regulation. Besides, MPPURC has regulated the fee structure of private universities for three academic sessions. In comparison to last academic session, this year private universities have reduced their fees by 10 percent.
In the meeting about 18 points agenda was propose. There was also discussion for furniture purchasing. MPPURC has sent proposal to DHE for approval of Times University Bhopal, Dr Priti Globas University in Shivpuri, LNCT Vidyapeeth in Indore, Hitkari Sabha in Jabalpur and a private university in Sehore.
