We aim to ensure ITI in every block: CM Chouhan
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that efforts should be made to connect the youths with maximum placement and employment by providing them training. Publicize the information about the placements every month and spread it to the people. Chouhan was reviewing the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment in Mantralaya on Thursday.
There should be an ITI in every development block
CM Shivraj said that there should be one ITI in every development block. He said that quality buildings of ITI should be constructed. Keeping in view the requirement of today, the infrastructure should be sound. Under no circumstances will substandard construction be tolerated. He said that develop manpower in view of MSME and Industries Department.
CM Chouhan said that training should be given to the youth keeping in mind the repair of oxygen plants, concentrators etc. Provide employment in government institutions by giving training for repair of machines, tools and equipment.
Chouhan said that training programmes should be organised according to the needs of today. He said that by arranging equipment in new ITI buildings, workshops should be started. Work fast for Global Skill Park. The utility of ITI is immense. So open more and more ITIs. He said that three thousand placements are being given per month, it should be increased further. Make ITIs better and useful and develop them as model. ITI is the most effective way to give jobs to people. Focus on this. Bring all the proposals in November of next year.
CM Chouhan said that action should be ensured to start new useful courses. In any case, teaching in mother tongue has to be started in one engineering college. Online courses should also be started.
He instructed to do short term and long term planning. Instructed to arrange staff and equipment, to run the old ITIs in a better way. Make polytechnic colleges multifunctional. Make Global Skill Park and 10 Divisional ITIs of International standard.
