India announced playing XI for Sydney Test
New Delhi (Mahamedia) Fast bowler Navdeep Saini will debut on Thursday at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in the third Test match starting with Australia. Saini has been brought into the squad in place of injured Umesh Yadav. As expected, Rohit Sharma has returned to the team. He has replaced Mayank Agarwal in the team.
Rohit and Gill will open the innings in the third Test match for India. No further changes have been made in the rest of the team.
Earlier, it was expected that T Natarajan would get a chance to make his debut in the Test team, but putting an end to such reports, captain Ajinkya Rahane has announced the final-11 a day before the match.
Two Test matches have been played between the two teams so far in the series, in which the Indian team suffered a crushing defeat in the Adelaide Test, but Ajinkya Rahane led the team to a comeback in Melbourne and won by 8 wickets. Equaled the series 1–1.
In such a situation, the third Test match played on a grassy high pitch in Sydney is expected to be quite exciting. Both teams will want to win the match and take the lead in the series.
