Sydney (Mahamedia) Australia defeated the Indian team by 51 runs in the second match of the 3 ODI series. With this, the team has taken an unassailable 2–0 lead in the series. Australia defeated the Indian team by 66 runs at the same Sydney Cricket Ground in the first ODI of the series. The last match of the series will be held on 2 December in Canberra.
Australia won the toss and gave a target of 390 runs while batting first. In response, the Indian team could only score 338 runs after losing 9 wickets. For the team, Virat Kohli scored 89 and Lokesh Rahul scored 76 runs.
