IPL: Mumbai Indians beat RCB by 5 wickets
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: In IPL Cricket, Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets in Abu Dhabi last night. Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unbeaten 79 off 43 deliveries, to help Mumbai Indians get across the line after being handed a target of 165. Suryakumar's innings comprised of ten boundaries and three sixes. He was declared Player of the Match. Mohammed Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal accounted for two wickets each.
Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl. After being sent in to bat, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a total of 164 runs for the loss of six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Devdutt Padikkal was the leading run-scorer, accumulating 74 runs off 45 deliveries. Padikkal's innings included 12 boundaries and a six.
For Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah was the pick of the bowlers, accounting for three dismissals while Trent Boult, Deepak Chahar and Pollard took one wicket each.
Today, Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders at 07:30 in the evening at Dubai International Stadium.
