MP riders bag eight medals in JNEC 2020
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The riders of Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy showcased their brilliant performance in the ongoing Junior National Equestrian Championship being held at Army Polo Riding Center, New Delhi, and bagged eight medals, including three gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
On this achievement, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated the medalists and praised their excellent performances in the championship. She encouraged the players to perform better in the upcoming events. Academy’s Bholu Parmar participated in the group one jumping personal event and bagged one gold and one bronze medal.
The team’s equestrians Arjun Malaiya, Bholu Parmar, Jyoti and Mo. Hamza Akil bagged a gold medal in team event of Group One Jumping event. The players of the academy Arjun Singh, Avik and Manya bagged a gold medal in the group two dressage team event. While in the individual event, Arjun Singh won a bronze medal. Bholu Parmar bagged a silver medal in the individual event of the Group One Dressage event held on second day of competition.
While Bholu Parmar and Jyoti bagged a silver medal in the team event. Similarly, Arjun Singh and Krishna Joshi bagged silver medal in the group two jumping team event.
Captain Bhagirath, chief coach of Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy, said “a total of 14 riders, including 9 boys and 5 girls, of the academy are participating in the Junior National Equestrian Championship being held in Delhi till December 30.”
