Virat Kohli wins ICC Cricketer of the Decade award

NEW DELHI [Maha Media]:  India skipper Virat Kohli was on Monday named the ICC Male Cricketer of The Decade as well as the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Decade while former India skipper MS Dhoni earned the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade.

MSD was chosen by fans unanimously for his gesture of calling back former England batter Ian Bell following a disputable runout at Trent Bridge in 2011.

Steve Smith was declared the ICC Test cricketer of the decade. Steve Smith, during the period, scored 7040 Test runs at an average of 65.79. He smashed 26 hundreds and 28 fifties. These numbers are nothing sort of astonishing, considering that he was also banned from international cricket of a year.

The awards were announced by the International Cricket Council.
