3rd CLC for UG admissions to begin today
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Department of Higher Education (DHE) is all set to start the third round of college level counselling (CLC) for admission to under-graduate courses of private and Government colleges across State from Friday.
In this round, students will be allowed to confirm their registration and choice filling by October 14. Document verification of newlyregistered candidates will be allowed by October 15. The department has concluded two CLC rounds for UG admission in which 60 per cent seats have been filled.
Applicants who failed to do rechoice lock of course and college in first round were not allowed to appear in the second round of CLC.
According to admission rule of Department of Higher Education (DHE), CLC will be held in three different rounds.
In order to participate the second CLC, it was mandatory to re-fill the choice in first round. After seat allotment, students are getting 24 hours to confirm the admissions with fee submission of Rs 1,000.
A few students demanded that they should get at least three to four days for fee submission. The department has conducted two main counselling and two CLC rounds to fill the UG seats but after the two rounds, around 40 per cent seats are vacant.
