Class X State Board exams cancelled, Class XIi exams from June 8
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered that state board Class X exams won't be held but and remaining Class 12 board exams will be held from June 8 to June 12 . He said that Class12 exams are important for the students' future.
He also said that private schools in the state can charge only tuitions fees in the lockdown period. "Since lockdown extension is expected, all remaining exams for MP Board Class 10 stand cancelled.
The merit list will be declared in the basis of exams that have been conducted. The students will be promoted to the next class with the remark "pass' in the Class X marksheet for the cancelled subjects.
The Chief Minister pointed out that all schools have been closed since March 19 and will remain close until lockdown ends, schools will only charge tuitions fee for this period.
