Counseling for admission to NCTE courses begins
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Online registration for admission to BEd and other courses afflicted to National Council for Teacher’s Education (NCTE) has begun on Monday.
Registration will be held by November 19 and merit list is scheduled to be released on November 26. After seat allotment, students will be called up to confirm admission on given seats by November 30. Apart from fee, students will be submitting copy of their documents including transfer certificate and migration to confirm admission.
This would be the last round of counseling and no further counseling link will be provided to the students. Department of Higher Education (DHE) informed that there are 4638 seats vacant across state. The additional counseling round has been scheduled to fill up the vacancies. There are 52476 admissions in NCTE courses in previous counseling.
However admission to the courses was concluded on October 19. But as few seats remained vacant, DHE said to conduct a special round. According to DHE, in first round 14750 students confirmed admission to B.Ed, 11058 admissions in second, 8959 admissions in third round and 2472 admissions held in additional counseling round.
There are 1000 B.Ed seats still lying vacant.
