MUMBAI [Maha Media]: Roop Mallik, a professor in the department of biosciences and bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), has been elected as an associate member of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO).
He is the fifth Indian scientist and only one from IIT Bombay to join the life scientists’ community. This year, he is the only Indian among nine associate members elected to EMBO.
“It is a recognition for the hard work and talent of my students and collaborators. I am happy that they chose to work with me.
