Last date for admissions under RTE extended till July 28
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The last date for taking admission under Right to Education (RTE) Act in private schools has been extended till July 28. Earlier this date was July 26. Director of State Education Dhanraju S said that keeping in view the weather conditions and the interest of the children, the last date for admission has been extended by two days.
Dhanraju said that instructions have been issued to all district co-ordinators that after allotment of eligible students are required to present it in school and get themselves registered via school mobile app. He also said that if at present the operation of the school has been stopped or a child has been assigned in a minority school, then the information regarding such schools should be made available to the State Education Center by 5 pm on Tuesday.
So that children can get opportunity to choose another school via second phase lottery process. It is notable that schools were allotted to many a child belonging to weaker sections of the society, through lottery system, and free admissions were provided under Right to Education Act 2009.
