MP govt orders to conduct classes for std IX to XII in schools
NEW DELHI [Maha Media]: School Education Department has issued directives for startingand operation of Government and non-government schools for session 2020-21.
During a review meeting, Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) Inder Singh Parmar issued instructions to conduct classes from class 9 to class 12 in schools.
For students of class 10 and 12, schools will be conducted regularly till full fixed time from December 18. This has been done keeping Board exams in mind.
For students of class 9 and 11, Principal can take decision at local level to run classes on basis of enrolment number and availability of classrooms.
However, presence of students in schools will depend on consent of parents and guardians. Consent given once by parents and guardians will be valid for the entire session.
It has been clearly stated in the directives that presence of students in schools will not be compulsory. Students who want to learn through online system, permission will be given to them.
Residential School can be opened in the form of day school.
Social distancing will have to be maintained in transport facility provided by schools along with regular sanitisation. In all Government schools, teaching and non-teaching staff presence will be cent per cent.
There will be prohibition on prayer, group activities, sports, swimming pool etc in schools. Special care will be taken that students should not gather at one place.
