MPBSE reschedules Xth, XIIth exams
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has rescheduled high school and higher secondary examinations. According to schedule, high school exams will be held from April 30 to May 19 and higher secondary exam will be held from May 1 to 21. Maths paper for class X was earlier scheduled for May 15 which is now rescheduled for May 19.
Biology paper that was earlier scheduled on May 11 for higher secondary will now held on May 20. Indian Music paper of higher secondary class that was earlier scheduled for May 18 will now held on May 11. Informatics Practice paper of higher secondary that was earlier scheduled for May 12 will now held on May 21.
The board has already released final blue print for all papers. According to MPBSE, for higher secondary examination 2021 in English Special paper, fiction anddrama was already taught to the students. The board said that schools that have not taught the chapter to students have enough time to complete the same. This part has been additionally added in the exam.
This year about 19 lakh examinees are expected to appear for the exam. The board said that blue print has been released after making correction of objections of students, parents, representatives and teachers. Experts analysed the claims and objections received from general public. The board had already changed the blue print that was released last week.
A few chapters that were earlier removed have been added in the latest blue print. In the latest blue print, 10 to 20 per cent course has been increased. Thelatest blue print released by the MPBSE did not include 30 per cent syllabus deduction. However, this blue print was cancelled.
