PG seats allotted, students to confirm admission by Oct 5
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Department of Higher Education (DHE) released merit list of around 99,000 post-graduation aspirants on Monday under college level counselling (CLC).
Colleges are asked to allot seats to the applicants as per merit list. First round of PG admission under CLC will be completed by October 5.
If seats remain vacant after the first round, then colleges will be releasing the second allotment after October 5.
Besides, around 30,000 students have been admitted to the under-graduate courses under college level counselling.
September 29 is the last date of UG admission for students who have been allotted seats.
After September 29, colleges will be releasing second list on vacant seats. Though students have filled up 15 choices but at the time of admission they are looking for preference.
Around 90,000 students are yet to confirm their admissions. Sources said that most of students are looking for their first choice of college due to which many of them are yet to confirm admission.
For admission to PG courses CLC was started on September 17 but in three days only 90,000 students confirmed their registration and 4,814 applicants verified their documents. Students having seats allotment for PG require confirming admission by October 5.
