Private coaching classes to reopen in Bhopal from Jan 1
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: After school and colleges, private coaching institutes in State capital Bhopal are set to reopen with 50 per cent capacity from January 1.
Coaching institutes are closed for past nine months in view of COVID-19 pandemic. However, students will not be pressurised for attending the offline class.
Parents are free to take decision for their ward and students will be attending offline coaching only with consent of parents. In district crisis management group meeting, officials agreed to reopen the private coaching class.
According to officials, coaching institutes will be submitting consent letter of parents before allowing students to attend the class. If any coaching institute allow student to attend the class without submitting the consent letter of parents or if any institute violate the capacity of students in a class, it will be penalised for Rs 50,000.
In such case, coaching institute will be sealed by the district administration. District administration has strictly told all coaching institutes to make roaster plan of students and staff to maintain social distancing. Only 50 per cent students and 50 per cent staff will be present in the institute in a day.
Bhopal Coaching Institute Association President Sanjay Tiwari said that private coaching institutes in Bhopal have suffered loss of around Rs 200 crores due to COVID19. He said private coaching classes are closed for past nine months and students are showing interest in online class.
