Universities to hold open book exams for UG, PG students
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: Following orders of Department of Higher Education, all universities across State have decided to conduct the UG and PG examinationsunder open book system.
Though universities have not declared the schedule of open book exams but final decision for the same has been taken. Delay in announcement of open book exam for UG and PG all semesters is making students worried. Many students are still in dilemma of exam mode. MP Bhoj Open University, Barkatullah University and other universities have said to follow the DHE guidelines and conduct open book exam.
Bhoj University would conduct open book exam in June. Preparation for open book exam has been started in full swing. There are about one lakh students to submit their copies at 111 study centres across State. Special nodal centres will be set up for collection of copies. Registrar L S Solanki said that final order for open book exam will be released for students. Copies will be collected at regional centres from study centres further sending it for evaluation.
Detail schedule of exam will be released soon. DHE has released order to all universities across for conducting open book exam of students. Following order of DHE, Bhoj University has started preparation to conduct open book exam for UG first, second and third year students. The university will be submitting copies at 111 centres in several districts. Preparation is being made to conduct the exams in second week of June. On Monday, a meeting was called with registrar, examination controller and other officials of university to take decision over exam preparation.
Confidential vehicles will be sent to collect the copies and evaluate the same. Students who are outside of their home town can send copies via post on name of deputy registrar.
